Today I am reviewing the Peerless Tonemaster Player guitar coming from a company who are celebrating 40 of producing top quality guitars. This guitar demands respect with its classic twang and deep nasal-like tone, this is just one of the reasons why the Peerless Tonesmaster caught my eye and pulled my ear when I demoed it at Badlands Guitars in Brighton. For anyone who has the opportunity to visit this great guitar shop in Brighton then it is well worth a look for a wide range of arch tops, fenders and much more.

Peerless used to make guitars for Gretsch and they have maintained the same structure as before with laminate spruce tops and maple back and sides. The neck is beautiful, made of maple wood with a tight grain rosewood board. Also worth mentioning is that the body is fully bound, as are “F” holes as well as block inlays.

Jazz to Rock-a-billy an excellent guitar

This guitar features a B60 Bigsby tremelo, Dual FilterTron pickups and a floating bridge which makes this a classic semi-hollow guitar with a wide tonal range. The beauty of this guitar is its versatility in covering Blues, Rock-a-billy and Jazz.
