Hey there guys,
Here are 3 licks in the style of Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, they are all in the key of D minor, mostly using the D minor pentatonic scale. Mark Knoplfer only uses his fingers to pick the strings when playing, this is how he gets his trade mark sound. In these examples I am using pick and fingers (Hybrid Picking) to emulate a similar style of sound, check the tab examples for details on which fingers to use. Good luck, and happy plucking!
